Overview

Thinx manufactures feminine hygiene products, and envisions a healthier world through sustainable solutions to menstruation and incontinence. I joined Thinx in May 2023, as the company’s first QA engineer. I expanded the QA process by integrating automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. I successfully led the development and implementation of a comprehensive end-to-end test suite, written primarily in Playwright, as well as Cypress. The site was built on Next.js and was written in JavaScript, though throughout my time at the company we gradually converted the site to TypeScript, and I regularly tested those changes. In addition to my role in test automation, I consistently conducted manual testing, creating and refining test plans in Jira and Zephyr Scale to ensure thorough testing coverage and adherence to quality standards.
